{"id":351,"date":"2022-12-19T19:20:08","date_gmt":"2022-12-19T19:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ask-the-razz.com\/?p=351"},"modified":"2022-12-19T19:27:58","modified_gmt":"2022-12-19T19:27:58","slug":"ten-underrated-movies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ask-the-razz.com\/index.php\/2022\/12\/19\/ten-underrated-movies\/","title":{"rendered":"Ten underrated Movies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An underrated film is usually well-known.\u00a0It&#8217;s not about being an obscure movie.\u00a0It&#8217;s about being misunderstood or possibly wasn&#8217;t what the audience &amp;\u00a0critics\u00a0expected when the flick was first released.\u00a0A great example of such a film is Citizen Kane, but\u00a0it\u00a0won&#8217;t be included in this list because for me\u00a0it&#8217;s a masterpiece &amp; already highly rated among\u00a0critics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.\u00a0Eyes Wide Shut(1999)\u00a0this film\u00a0is regarded as a flop on release day, with critics mentioning the themes reflected incoherent messages.\u00a0But although\u00a0it\u00a0showcases more quirky material than the other Stanley Kubrick\u00a0movies, \u00a0it&#8217;s still an outstanding\u00a0movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\u00a0Dreams(1990)\u00a0for\u00a0Akira\u00a0Kurosawa, when\u00a0it&#8217;s compared to his earlier films\u00a0it&#8217;s\u00a0not\u00a0highly regarded &amp;\u00a0not\u00a0favored among critics.\u00a0In my opinion,\u00a0it&#8217;s one of the masterpieces that came from this genius nearing the end of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\u00a0Lady Vengeance(2005);\u00a0the last flick in\u00a0Chan-wook\u00a0Park Vengeance Trilogy suffered from following footsteps of the successful\u00a0Oldboy.The narrative is digestible, and the movie is textured more.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\u00a0Naked Lunch(1991)\u00a0has a specific\u00a0affinity\u00a0with fans of the book that was adapted to screen by David\u00a0Cronenberg.\u00a0Viewers might struggle with the\u00a0craziness\u00a0&amp; others would be joyful with the mix between realism &amp; fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.\u00a0The Cable Guy(1996) with Jim\u00a0Carrey\u00a0&amp; directed by Ben Stiller is another flick when you compare it to\u00a0Carrey&#8217;s\u00a0other work\u00a0it\u00a0will easily go unnoticed.\u00a0But when you take\u00a0it\u00a0as a\u00a0comedy\u00a0&amp; compare\u00a0it\u00a0to today&#8217;s cinema and Adam\u00a0Sandler&#8217;s\u00a0comedy\u00a0it\u00a0will be considered a triumph.
