Beyond his technical mastery and innovative storytelling, what sets Akira Kurosawa apart from his contemporaries is his deep-rooted sense of humanism. Films like Ikiru (1952) and Red Beard (1965) showcase Kurosawa’s ability to explore the essence of what it means to live a meaningful life. Ikiru is perhaps his most personal film, telling the story of a bureaucrat who, upon discovering he has terminal cancer, sets out to find purpose in his final days. Through this narrative, Kurosawa confronts the existential questions that define human experience—mortality, legacy, and the quest for significance.
In Red Beard, Kurosawa dives deep into the relationship between a compassionate doctor and his arrogant apprentice. The film is a meditation on empathy, sacrifice, and the idea that true greatness comes from serving others. Kurosawa believed that films should serve as a mirror to society, reflecting not only its beauty but its flaws and injustices. His characters often grapple with moral dilemmas, and his films rarely offer easy answers.
Kurosawa’s cinema is one of hope, even in the face of tragedy, a beacon of light in a world often overshadowed by darkness.
*For more on Kurosawa’s humanism, Donald Richie’s A Hundred Years of Japanese Film offers great insight .

Bin da jetzt seit gut vier Monaten dabei, also kann ich schon was dazu sagen.

So I’ve been messing around on Revery Play for roughly a couple of months and thought I’d drop my thoughts on this. Signed up on a whim — minimum deposit was ?10 which suited me fine, threw in ?50 to start and they matched with a matched deposit bonus up to 500 quid plus 150 free spins on registration. Playthrough sits at 35x which is pretty standard but I’ve seen way worse.
Game selection is genuinely solid — they’ve got over 2500 games from studios including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Betsoft. Been grinding Gates of Olympus mostly — had a solid session on Gates last week actually. Live tables is all Evolution — Crazy Time is always packed, real croupiers and everything.
The bit that sold me on Revery Play is withdrawal times. My go-to is Skrill and last cashout hit my account in under 24 hours. You can also use crypto and Neteller for those who prefer it. I’d browse their full bonus page over at revery play to see for yourself.
Now, it’s not all perfect. Customer support at Revery Play can be a bit slow — had to wait a good while before someone replied. Also the mobile site is decent enough but some menus are fiddly compared to some competitors. No standalone app, you just use the mobile browser.
Overall though, it hasn’t put me off which says enough really. They’re properly licensed and I haven’t had any dodgy issues. If you’re in the UK this is a decent option — only be patient with live chat wait times.
Ci trovi titoli di Pragmatic Play come Sweet Bonanza e Gates of Olympus, poi parecchie slot di NetEnt e roba Play’n GO tipo Book of Dead.
I pagamenti funzionano senza intoppi. Accettano Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller e pure crypto.
Taa on yks niista jutuista mika ratkasee mulle aika paljon — hitaat maksut on dealbreaker.
Pelikirjastosta voin sanoo et sita riittaa. Lottoland vetaa sisaan peleja isoilta pelintekijoilta esim. NetEnt ja Microgaming, joten tutut nimikkeet on paikalla. Ite pyorittelin Sweet Bonanzaa jonku verran ja voittoki tuli pari kertaa. Kolikkopeleja on ainakin pari sataa plus poytapeleja myos. Tosin yks juttu — pelien etsinta on vahan kompelo, valilla menee aikaa ettiessa.
Livepeleista loytyy ihan kunnon oikeita jakajia ja kokeilin Lightning Roulettea kaverin kaa. Pyorii hyvin mobiilissa, mika on iso plussa. Bonuksista puhuttaessa — ma sain tervetuliaisen ja paalle viela ilmaiskierroksia. Wagering oli jotain 30x ja se on standardi. Lue pienella painettu silti etukateen.
Nostot Lottolandista on menny mulle suht nopeesti. Skrillilla kesti alle vuorokausi ja Visa-nosto kesti vahan pidempaan. Ei mitaan kauheen erikoista mutta ei valittamista. Voit kattoo lisatietoa katevasti lottoland online niin naat ite. Support vastaa livechatissa ja oon saanu ihan nopeesti bonusasiassa.
Puhelimella toimii selaimella ja se riittaa mulle. Saitti latautuu sutjakkaasti eika patkimista oo moitteetta. Lisenssit nakyy sivuilla eli silta osin ok. Ainoo mika vahan hairitsi et sivusto ei oo taysin suomeks, mut kylla silla parjaa. Kyl ma pelaan varmaan jatkossaki Lottolandissa kunnes joku parempi tulee vastaan.
I’ve been using Rolletto for like a couple of months and wanted to share my thoughts. Found it after googling around for somewhere new since I was tired of the same old sites. Signed up took maybe under five minutes, nothing weird asked, then I put in ?20 to start — min deposit is ?20 which isn’t bad.
The welcome bonus caught my eye — it was a hundred percent up to €500 plus 200 free spins. Wagering’s at x35 and that is about average compared to some places. They gave the spins for Sweet Bonanza from what I recall. Tbh, I didn’t win much from the spins but the deposit match stretched things out nicely.
Game selection at Rolletto is actually bigger than I expected. There’s titles by Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, plus Evolution on the live side. I’ve been hammering Sweet Bonanza plus some BTG Megaways like Bonanza. Must be 3000-odd games across the whole site. Live dealers are worth mentioning — roulette, blackjack, and I keep going back to Lightning Roulette which is way too addictive. All Evolution-run, stream is crisp even on mobile.
Getting money out has been what I really wanted to test and actually it’s been fine. I’ve used my Visa and funds hit in roughly a day. There’s also crypto like BTC and a bunch of e-wallets which is handy. I’d have a look at the current promotions on rolletto casino before you sign up. The thing that bugs me — KYC took ages to clear which dragged on a bit.
On my phone, Rolletto loads nicely in Chrome — they don’t have an app and honestly the browser version is fine. Pages load fast and I’ve played lying in bed no problems. Customer service is always on via live chat and response time was like thirty seconds when I had a bonus question. The site is operating under a Curacao licence — not UKGC which make of that what you will.
Look, it’s not flawless — that slow verification and the site design is a bit cluttered in places. But the games are class, I’ve had no payout dramas, and the matched deposit gave me plenty of play time. Not for everyone maybe but I’ll be sticking with Rolletto for now.
